~Friedrich Nietzsche
The best inspiration for artists is each other. David M. Crampton has been inspired by many, and the works of David M. Crampton have inspired many others. The ones that have been shared with us, we now share with you. If you find that you're inspired to create, and want to share, please do.

Dave's Inspirations
Comics
From MegaTokyo to xkcd, Dave's got a large daily dose of story interwoven with graphic art. Any day that he can (which is most days, if he has his way), he starts the day by going through this list. Maybe you'd like some of them too?
Books
Anne Rice, Robert Jordan, Anne McCaffrey, Issac Asimov, Terry Brooks, Ursula LeGuin, Neil Gaiman. These fine people, along with many many others, have fueled Dave's imagination and kindled his fires of creativity. Many authors tell you that the best way to be a good writer is to read. If that's true, Dave's library is the perfect recipe for a fantastic writer.
Music
Do you have a theme song? Dave has one. Dave finds focus and motivation with music. He has many friends who help him with that, and there are many strangers that help too.
Everyday
Inspiration surrounds Dave in his everyday life. From his friends, to his family, to his dog, to the strangers at the coffee shop, Dave sees the stories around him develop and change, and he uses them in his writing. That which has been destroyed by fire offers as much inspiration for him as does the shiny and new, like the RenCen in downtown Detroit.
