I’m really digging vlogging, and I’m pretty shocked about it. I considered it a couple years back, and for several reasons – not the least of which was trying not to step on my stepson’s toes – I decided against it.<\/p>\n

I’ve since reversed that decision.<\/p>\n

I haven’t committed to an update schedule or a limited subject matter yet; that may come with time (editor’s note – since then, I’ve committed to a schedule!<\/em>). The same goes with ads and making money from it, if enough people want to watch my face and listen to my voice, I don’t mind making a little money from it.<\/p>\n

All of the fiddly details aside, I am really, really enjoying it. I’m having fun recording my thoughts, making faces at the camera, and putting that goodness up for people to see. I feel like I’m letting people in, which is hard, without having to actually interact, so it’s easy. Yeah, I’m cheating.<\/p>\n
