A DVD player.  An R\/F Modulator.  Blade on DVD.  But, let&#8217;s start from the beginning.<\/p>\n<p><lj-cut text=\"Dear gods, yesterday was a full day.\">Work was work.  &#8216;Nuff said there, really.  After work was getting the coolant topped off on the car, then picking up <lj user=\"benniferus\"> from LCC.  From there we shot over to Theio&#8217;s for a snack, because we were meeting people for dinner around 9, and that&#8217;s just too long for this fat man&#8217;s stomach to stay empty.<\/lj><\/lj-cut><\/p>\n<p>While at Theio&#8217;s, we received a call from <lj user=\"quiet_screaming\"> and heard all the grim stupidity that his mother was dishing him.  So, after our snack, we picked him up and asked him to share in my money-spending glee.  Best Buy received my funds (and the fee for me using my credit card, those suckers) in return for the DVD player, R\/F Modulator, and DVD.<\/lj><\/p>\n<p>After this, we intended to set up the previously-mentioned electronic goodness, but <lj user=\"quiet_screaming\">&#8216;s father called, and he was almost in town with stuff being moved from D-town.  So, we shot over to his new apartment and BS&#8217;ed with <lj user=\"voideng\"> while the stuff was moved in.  I had several geek-gasms at <lj user=\"voideng\">&#8216;s accumulation of equipment.<\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/p>\n<p>Once we left <lj user=\"quiet_screaming\">&#8216;s new apartment, we headed to my place and set up the DVD player and R\/F Modulator.  Everything seems to work OK.  At this point, <lj user=\"atdt1991\"> and <lj user=\"atropis\"> show up.  Then, as if falling from the clouds (without the splattering and gore), <lj user=\"roscop\"> shows up.  We split up into two cars and head out to good old Mongolian BBQ.  On the way, <lj user=\"benniferus\"> remembers that we&#8217;ve forgotten <lj user=\"kreie\">.  I didn&#8217;t remember hearing about her coming along before, but most people reading this know how my memory is.<\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/p>\n<p>So, Mongolian BBQ rocked, as per usual, especially as empty as it was that late.  Then <lj user=\"atropis\"> and I dropped <lj user=\"quiet_screaming\"> off for work and secured seats at Denny&#8217;s for the crew.  <lj user=\"benniferus\">, <lj user=\"roscop\">, and <lj user=\"atdt1991\"> picked up <lj user=\"kreie\"> and met us at Denny&#8217;s, where much coffee and conversation and mocking was had.<\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, I aquired stuff.
