Luckily I didn&#8217;t get the urge to fall asleep until I got to work.  One of my pod-mates woke up when they heard the snore start.  They were lucky.  It was only a soft snore.  It wasn&#8217;t a log-sawing wall-shaker.<\/p>\n<p>I started replying to letters to stay awake.  Now that I&#8217;m awake, I was just using it to pass the time.  3 letters (<lj user=\"benniferus\">, <lj user=\"roscop\">, and <lj user=\"kreie\">) and a torn up credit card app sent back to the company.  Very productive.  Not only that, but calls are going well.<\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/p>\n<p>Of course, now that I&#8217;ve said that&#8230; damnit.<\/p>\n<p>Last night, I hung with <lj user=\"atdt1991\">, Ben, <lj user=\"navin_bane\">, <lj user=\"beaker_meep\">, and <lj user=\"cleverdan\">.  We saw <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/trailers\/independent\/bubba_ho-tep\/\">Bubba Ho-Tep<\/a> and laughed our asses off.  Elvis and Kennedy vs. Mummy!!  MU HA HA!!<\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/lj><\/p>\n<p><lj-cut text=\"Skippy!=Ineffectual\">I must say that I was a bit perturbed at the amount of Skippy-mocking that was going on, but not enough to say something at the time or get actually upset about it.  Just a nagging annoyance.<\/lj-cut><\/p>\n<p>The reason that I don&#8217;t like the Skippy=ineffectual mock any longer is that I worry that I -am- that ineffectual in life.  I work hard to get things done, and love to get tasks accomplished.  To have what I&#8217;ve done summarily dismissed&#8230; well, that&#8217;s why it tends to get under my skin.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not looking for apologies or to scold or to bitch, I just feel the need to explain.  There&#8217;s no hard feelings or any dumbness like that on my side, you bloody insensitive bastards. :)<\/p>\n<p>Tonight cannot come fast enough.
