When you miss a whole day of classes during the first week of the semester, a dangerous tone is set. Catch-up. I’m still playing this game, churning through a stellar amount of material just so that I can get things turned in on time, or a little late. I even made a post about it here<\/a> during my WRA 210 class this morning.<\/p>\n

This morning, Dale was in the shower for what seemed like forever. All three of us needing a shower at the same time on Monday morning is NOT working out. If I would just get up when my alarm clock went off, I wouldn’t have to worry about any of this. Instead, I hit the snooze bar like it’s some kind of game. (Trust me, it makes sense when you’re half-asleep.)<\/p>\n

I’m behind on work, on keeping up at the house, on my schoolwork… but I’m not so far behind that it seems overwhelming. It’s just a lot of a little that adds up to a ton. Not to mention being at September 12th on my LJ friends page.<\/p>\n

I have a pimple on my lip. I need to trim my goatee and mustache and shave my face. I desperately need a shower.<\/p>\n

Also, leaving my planner and my Japanese textbook in class today was NOT the brightest move I could have made. Looks like Matsubara Sensei picked them up, but I can’t get to her until I’m supposed to be taking (and probably bombing) my sky quiz in my Astronomy lab.<\/p>\n

So, I’m officially engaging hermit-mode. If you see me out and about, I will likely be studying. If I’m rude to you and keep my headphones on instead of conversing, it’s because I must. Since I’ve returned, school has been and will continue to be one of my top priorities. If I’m ever going to get that cursed piece of sheep’s hide, it has to be this way.<\/p>\n
