While it did take quite a bit of time, I was doing other things, like writing more <a href=\"http:\/\/steven.davidmcrampton.com\/\">Steven<\/a> stuffs, customizing my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnome.org\/\">gnome<\/a> desktop, and eBaying for battery goodness.<\/p>\n<p>Catching up with finances makes me feel like we drew a &#8220;Bank Error in Your Favor&#8221; card, and I&#8217;m absolutely fine with that. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.penguicon.org\/\">PenguiCon<\/a> is a go, and some long-term debts will soon be seeing some of our hard-earned green. I&#8217;ve clawed my way out of this hole before, and it feels pretty good to be doing it with a partner.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of which, if you&#8217;re a regular visitor of Sci-Fi\/Fantasy\/Linux\/Fandom conventions, check out this site:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/conpics.org\">http:\/\/conpics.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a project to unify pictures of conventions into a more conveniently browsable arena. I think it&#8217;s a great idea, and will be uploading my pics soon.<\/p>\n<p>Like every morning that I can indulge, today allows me the anti-grog effects of <a href=\"http:\/\/gonewiredlansing.com\/\">Gone Wired<\/a>&#8216;s coffee. Of course, with my caffeine tolerance, it takes a few ticks to kick in. I&#8217;m so spoiled by it, that I&#8217;m planning on purchasing some of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.transfairusa.org\/\">Fair Trade<\/a> coffee beans that they have on sale, and taking advantage of the grinder that they have there. What? <a href=\"http:\/\/ubuntu.com\">Linux<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/gentoo.org\">geeks<\/a> also coffee snobs? YA RLY!<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s time to put some words on some paper.
