I won&#8217;t be attending <lj comm=\"penguicon\"> at the very least.  As the other cons approach, I&#8217;ll be evaluating my financial situation, and making that determination.<\/lj><\/p>\n<p>*sigh*<\/p>\n<p>Yes, cons are a hell of a good time.  Their impact on sales is always up in the air, as far as marketing goes, but I look at it as having my name heard.  The more people associate &#8220;David Crampton&#8221; with &#8220;writer&#8221; with &#8220;novel&#8221;, the more likely I am to sell a book now, or a project down the road.  So, in the long run, they&#8217;re good for sales.  Also, fun.  Did I mention fun?  So, don&#8217;t think that I&#8217;m making this decision lightly.<\/p>\n<p>This week seems all about making decisions for myself.
