{"id":663,"date":"2011-09-20T16:52:13","date_gmt":"2011-09-20T20:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/davidmcrampton.com\/?p=663"},"modified":"2021-03-22T08:52:02","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T12:52:02","slug":"father","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/davidmcrampton.com\/?p=663","title":{"rendered":"Father."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I opened this post and added the below picture, days ago, it matched my mood precisely. &nbsp;I felt a connection to my Dad, through this image of his serenity, that I don&#8217;t often feel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/lh\/photo\/6qHslMAsI3PoeE_4fpqTfQ?feat=directlink\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/-Wp_82qxh090\/S8NzTMXKp4I\/AAAAAAAABus\/yE4nckaxrSk\/s720\/P7080428.jpg\" alt=\"Dad\" width=\"277\" height=\"207\" align=\"right\"><\/a>I&#8217;m hoping that I can feel that more as I continue to grow into this fatherhood business, and as I reach for wisdom. I&#8217;m not under any crazy delusion that I&#8217;ll grasp wisdom, but it&#8217;s a good road to walk, I think. &nbsp;A good goal to strive for.<\/p>\n<p>To be completely honest, I still sometimes have a hard time believing that I&#8217;m a Dad.&nbsp; Since I&#8217;ve put on those boots, though, I have discovered a whole new level to the definition of the word &#8220;responsibility.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When I opened this post and added the below picture, days ago, it matched my mood precisely. &nbsp;I felt a connection to my Dad, through this image of his serenity, that I don&#8217;t often feel.
