When a customer leases a bunch of computer equipment in 1999, as well as buys a bunch of service, software, peripherals, and network essentials, what in the world drives them to bitch about the lack of depreciation on their equipment when the lease comes due in 2003?
The dude says, “I was expecting 10%, but what Apple offered me was much higher.”
Then the dude says, after I give him the option of buying out and then selling his equipment on eBay, “Well, we really like the setup. The computers do exactly what we want them to do, and do it well.”
Pay for what you’re getting. Leases are for those that will not be happy with their equipment when the lease is up, not for those who want to keep their equipment. Quit sulking, you whiney bastard!
Sheesh.
