Filling up the gas tank while it’s at a quarter-tank instead of riding on empty feels really good. Like I’ve just removed hours and hours of worry from my life.

Adding some Presidents of the United States and Primus to my mp3 directory has completely changed the attitude of my overall playlist.

I feel like I’m at a snapping point. I know, more than likely, that I’ll be offered the Comcast position. It’s just the waiting… the inability to move on that with the actions that will take me to the Ann Arbor area. I have the option of starting little preperations now, but I don’t want to jump the gun. Any ideas?

One of the two tech support supervisors/managers that interviewed me was the one who interviewed me during the job fair. He’s the one that passed me on for the second stage.

He also said, on my way out the building, “Don’t worry, man. You seem pretty solid.” As far as I can tell, the percentage chance of being hired has risen. Excellent.

There is a branch of my bank right outside the industrial park. There is a decently-priced Citgo right outside the industrial park. There are semi-tolerable fast food chains, as well as several grill-type restaurants, right outside the industrial park.

I had a small revelation about housing, as well. Much to think on.

Tomorrow at 2PM, I have a second interview with Comcast for a tech support position.

I actually find myself wanting to ask for Good Thoughts(tm), prayers, whatever… I’m going to have to do some of that myself tonight, I think. Rituals for practicality instead of symbolism? Never been my strongest suit, but that could easily be the point.
