More catching up.

Friday was good… despite not getting the position. I’ll keep at it. I got my car back. I saw Episode 2. I found out what night the Impact plays the Mechanical Pulse.

I could feel the wind pushing my hair back (as I’d had it down since work got out) as we walked to our cars from the theater. It pulled it back, blew through it, and felt refreshing on my face. My trenchcoat opened to greet the wind and flapped in a pleasing manner. I looked at my shadow (created by the lights in the parking lot, of course) and grinned, cuz all I could think was, “Yeah… badass…”

At least he told me now….

I was right. It was a project manager position.

I was perfect for the job.

Except that I don’t have a bachelor’s degee (any bachelor’s degree). And I am in school (to do just that), so I wouldn’t be able to spend several days at once out of the city at one of our other installations.

I didn’t get the job because I’m going to school.

“We have to make sure they learn about tonalization.”

Disclaimer: This post is written as these things pop up in my head. You were warned.

My car is in the dealership’s hands. I hope my dad knows what he’s talking about when trusting a dealership. The Ford one screwed me over when I had that Mercury Sable wagon, but then again, it is Ford.

And no, Rodney didn’t install my gas tank. It’s on right-side-up. *brandishes GM bag*

I asked questions in our general meeting today. Questions that might get me fired. Again. It’d be funny if they fired me for that. From the way the VP’s were nodding with what I said, tho, I hope a promotion is more in the works. Speaking of which, I seem to not be able to find Garth to schedule that interview. The amazing disappearing VP.

Anime night was good, and odd. It’s incredibly difficult to not get goaded into one-upmanship with her. And of course, the chick that is always there at 21st Century is hawt, and probably has the fanboy brigade issue. *SHRUG* Whatever… she seems to have some odd spiritual similarities with me. Good conversation. So hard to stay on topic when Cheri is in a conversation. So hard to finish a story. I did it a few times, by letting her finish her thread, then going back to the original thread. Patience _must_ be a virtue.

Finance drives infected with 8 virii. Cleaned. St00pid ATX people. And, of course, the Columbus people have *no* antivirus software. At least the Philly (ATX) people seem to have THAT down.

Middle management. Heheheheheh. Me, in middle management. Heheheheh… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA… BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Oh, dear lord, the humor in daily life… *wipes away tear* middle management *snicker*

Gonna go see Yoda kick ass and Jar Jar get all st00pid (wait, there’s a change?) tonight with the Texan. Maybe meet up with some CoreComm crazy people at the Roadhouse or over at the theater.

Final thought (ala ): I like cheese.

No, no, no. That says “An Album Cover.”

I saw her yesterday, before Blodgett picked me up from the engineering building. I still don’t know what to think or say or do or not do. *SIGH*

: He does indeed still have his space-age water bottle, Kati Crash is still in school (tho she walked on my birthday), and my prof’s baby is 2 now. I would have sworn him a flamer.

Hopefully my postcards made it into the mailman’s hand yesterday.

I don’t have a headache today.

I have something meaningful to say, but I have no idea what it is.

Eleventy million isn’t even a real number!

I love this class. It’s clicking really well, and I’m digging all of the reading. It’s entirely worth tacking the debt onto the end of my car loan.

I’m a little worried, as I’m trying to make 3 payments of $550 this month, instead of just one. I slacked off a little, and this is the catching up. Right, of course, when I need to buy books and get my car repaired. Hrm, I think the bus routes are online.

The Green Spiral Inn mailing list has once again narrowly avoided being destroyed. Fuckit, I may destroy it anyway. I’m the only admin, and there’s a whole bunch of stupidity there. It WOULD be really, really fun to just hit that “delete group” link. Sooo… very…. tempting….

Blodgett got laid off, and he was so happy that he bought me lunch.
