Humdrum.

Still no voice mail from the apartment complex. If they don’t make an effort to give me a call, I’m calling them as soon as I get off of work.

So far, my day’s been pretty good. Mancino’s for lunch. Lots of joking around with cow-orkers. Looks like we’re getting ready to move into the pods downstairs. I can’t wait.

Tonight’s a Luna night, but I think I’m going to go to bed at a reasonable hour.

Oh, my schedule’s been updated. Soon, I’ll be on 9 AM to 6 PM, with my days off on Wednesday and Thursday. Club nights are going to be easy for me in the future. :)

I have a plan, if DTN tries to badmouth me to Schooner Cove. I’m going to call DTN and do what my Dad does. I’m going to demand what I deserve. I’m NOT going to put up with paying for something that I didn’t do.

I’ve honestly been stewing over this since yesterday, when I found out that my application had been initially declined. It’s not healthy to let this frustration and anger bubble like it is. I’m going to try to get it out through writing, once I get home. I’m also going to try to get it out through organization and such. I dunno.

I’m torn between the desire to whine for hours and the desire to punch a hole in the wall. How very angsty of me.

The perfect apartment.

I need for Ganesha/Ganapati to remove an obstacle.

A huge war-hammer smashing -through- the obstacle is a more likely option.

The apartment has a dishwasher. Safeway, a rental history check organization, shows that I’ve either had a judgement against me in court for an eviction or late rent. I have never been to court over rental issues. I was not named in the Lair suit. The time DTN served me was avoided by paying the rent. There has never been a judgement filed against me in this manner. This apartment has a DISHWASHER.

I’m even thinking of painting one of the rooms. Yes, , my ways seem to be changing. And it is YOUR fault as well as ‘s fault.

In case you didn’t hear, this apartment has a DISHWASHER.

Removal of obstacles.

Slow morning.

I’m 22 minutes into my shift, and I haven’t had a call yet.

Oh, wait, there was the first one. I jinxed it for myself. Heh.

I made it to work in under an hour from Lansing. And I didn’t go much past 5 over the speed limit the whole way. I pretty much followed the flow of what little traffic there was. And yes, , 127 to 94 is MUCH faster on a Sunday morning. I was worried needlessly about infamous I-94 traffic.

My weekend starts tomorrow. Things on my list include holiday observance, oil change, hair cut, writing, filling out and turning in the app for my apartment in Ypsi, and most importantly of all, spending time with .

, you probably already know about this, but there’s a new repaint series of TF toys out called Transformers Universe with the RiD font. They have a repaint of the original Optimus Primal, so I’m going to have to grab it, no matter how dumb the repaint looks. I haven’t seen a Megatron yet, but I’m sure you’ve found it on the web already. Heh.

Apartment

I have the apartment held with my application fee. I have a tour of the actual apartment that I’m looking to move into scheduled for Tuesday, when I turn in the application.

Not bad.

Mornings.

I figured Saturday traffic from the TWP would be easier, so I slept in for a half an hour this morning. I needed it.

Well, I696 was CLOSED for two miles. Parking lot on surface streets and service drives.

So, I decided to make up some time.

On 275, I was nailed by a state trooper. He gave me a ticket for 80 in a 70. I was lucky, he gave me a break.

If there was any doubt that I needed to end this commute sooner rather than later, it’s gone. Luckily, I’ve found the apartment deal of a lifetime, and am not going to pass it up. Ypsilanti, here I come.
