1. What do you think is the coolest thing you own?

My dragon pendant, which was a gift from .

2. What is your primary motivation for writing?

After being pushed for most of my life by my friends, I have finally realized the truth: that the universes in my head deserve to be given form and color and definition, and this is a good way to keep them from eating me alive.

3. Divide the number of dead hookers in your trunk by the number of dead hookers you’d LIKE to have in your trunk, and provide the number.

Zero divided by zero is a null set, if I remember correctly. I argued it, but they wouldn’t let me assign a mathematical value to the concept of infinity. Goddamn high school Trig teachers.

4. Do you believe that people are inherently good, evil, or neither?

Neither. I believe that each person has a gem of brilliance buried deeply inside of them. Only those that discover and nurture this gem will become truly good or evil. The others will drown in their own mediocraty.

5. What song/album do you currently listen to the most?

100th Window by Massive Attack

Catching up.

I am two days behind in my To Do list, and it’s entirely worth it.

I think I pulled something in my neck on the way back from IPM when I cracked my neck and it felt wierd. I’m only a little worried. IPM was good fun, especially since I’d decided not to bring anything else to do, and to actually socialize.

‘s cheese dip was supa-tasty and über-filling.

Last night was spent at Amy’s Sabbat game, and it was the most fun that I’ve had gaming in a long time. I’m playing Steven (I know you’re jealous ) and he’s pack priest. So many ritae last night.

Tonight I’m going to be a model. *snicker* and I are going to do some winter photography. Not that it’s a comfortable season for me or anything. I hope it warms up at least a little bit, though, it was bitter cold, even for me, when I came into work this morning.

Hrm, I may have lost my checkbook. I’ll have to scour my car for it over my break.

Fantastic Weekend

I took on a date. I haven’t had that much fun doting on her in a little while. Later on, random errands were accomplished, and little frivolous things were bought for myself.

I went to the doctor, and am now officially back on the blood pressure meds. In fact, I’m back on the one that says “avoid prolonged exposure to real or artificial sunlight.” My meds are TELLING me to be goth. Heh. I have a heart ultrasound scheduled for Thursday, so that they can see if my heart was damaged at all while I was off of the meds.

That doctor’s office is so very Ypsi. I don’t really know how else to put it, but I came away smiling about my new home.

SNOW! SCHWEET!

Also, Chapter 12 is done. 13 is started. And yes, , Madness is in 13 and 14 as well. Now you’re just going to have to wait until I type up 12 to get your fix. ;)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): “Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed movies released in 2003. Yet some of its fervent fans have come forward to identify its many problems with continuity. Did you notice that Frodo’s scar migrates from his right cheek in one scene to his left cheek in a later scene? That’s just one of over 30 flaws registered by readers of the moviemistakes.com website. I applaud this effort. I’ve always believed that the most useful critiques often come from people who deeply appreciate the subject they’re critiquing. This so happens to be your mandate in the coming week, Taurus: Compassionately assess what needs improvement about everything you love.

Printer annoyance solved.

I finally found the little checkmark to turn off the “fast printing” option on my Epson in the Mac configuration. I had found it on the PC forever ago.

I had breakfast for dinner and it was wonderful. I picked up a Robert Jordan and a Neil Gaiman novel on my Border’s gift card. There’s 57 cents left and they wouldn’t give me the cash. They handed the card back to me. FOR FIFTY-SEVEN CENTS. Goddamn Borders.

I also got a new printer cartridge, finally. I didn’t need one in the TWP because let me use his printer for everything.

Okay, time to put away laundry.

First step.

I’ve decided that the first step to getting the computer room close to how I’ll like it is getting the proper lighting. I’m going to worry about that first, and not fuss over anything else about the room.

I figure that I’ll be in this apartment for at least two years, which is enough to put quite a bit of effort into getting my living space to be a place that I like living in.

I’m getting a list together for the things I want to accomplish over my weekend. Today is my Friday. :)
