Amusementality.

I feel kind of guilty when I get sleep and doesn’t. I constantly worry (without any foundation in reality, I’ve been repeatedly assured) that it’s my snoring that’s keeping her up, or my tossing and turning. It’s not, because she pokes, prods, kicks, and punches me when I keep her up like that. ;)

It was really nice getting up with her this morning. I don’t envy her longer-than-usual day, but then again, she doesn’t envy my commute. Heh.

Spiritual things Sunday night. Much visiting and hanging out and comics and goodness all weekend long. Had a good (if short and nervous on my part) talk with . Now it’s hitting me, and I’m digging it.

I wonder where I should go for lunch. The coney would be nice, but I’ve finished the book I was reading. Maybe I’ll actually write for once. BAH!

I’m 120 entries back in my friends list, and still haven’t found where I left off on Sunday.

The biggest contention between myself and right-wingers/Republicans is that I don’t beleive that we’re the best country on this planet. I think that that’s a childish and self-centered view to have, because it automatically negates other cultures, nations, and ways of living life that have had centuries and millenia to develop that we simply haven’t had.

Overall, things are really good. I’m progressing on the battle of red tape with the SafeRent people to get my report. Overall, things are conspiring to make me smile.

That bucket’s full of wacky!

I worked out in the fitness center yesterday, and it was good. I’ve decided to go cardiovascular for a bit, first, to see how that goes. Then I’ll start thinking about building muscle. I worked both the bike and the elliptical machine yesterday. Definite goodness.

Hung out with the parentals for a little bit after I got home from A2. Dad is doing a walk for curing breast cancer today and then helping his mom and dad with cleaning up the leaves in their yard. He’s got a nifty vacuum thing that looks like a lawn mower but isn’t.

Then, this:

It was very cool. I got to see a night earlier than expected, which was fantastic. I got to see since she was down from Canadia. I got to over-use the hands-over-the-mic death metal voice. Hee hee! And, of course, the usual IPM peeps.

This morning I’ve been sprayed in a kamikaze liberation attempt by my hot chocolate. The cuff of my sleeve will smell like chocolate for the rest of the day. Heh.

I will do this.

I’m staying after work today to use the fitness center. This seems to be a trend with most of my friends, and I’m hoping that we call can stick with this.

I’m looking for advice and comments on my plan, which is this:

Stretching.
Warmup on stationary bike, for about 10 to 15 minutes.

For building arm strength, I plan on rotating through the free weights and various weight machines here that are for the arms. I want to improve all areas of my arm strength.

For lessening the capacity of the keg (six pack, keg, get it?), I’m thinking situps and/or crunches. Any other recommended exercises for this?

Deciding this feels odd. Maybe I’ll stick with it this time.

Lost and… FOUND!

So, you know that thing that I had to search through all my stuff for? I’ve been looking for it in the place that I thought I left it for three or four days. No go, so I decided to search through everything. Top to bottom. Every box. Every plastic tupperware storage container thing. Every drawer from my dresser. Every duffel bag filled with crap.

I couldn’t find it.

On a whim, I checked back in the first place, where I knew it should have been, and there it was. Thank the gods. I was going to be way upset, because the item has huge sentimental value to me. That’s why I’m giving it away. :)

Anyway, I still couldn’t find my MSU CD wallet that has a bunch of copies of my CD’s, and one of ‘s CD’s. It’s got to be somewhere, unless maybe found it in the Lumina.

OH. The car.

The oil leak was a combination of:

– Leaking oil pan gasket (not a word, )
– Oil filter not screwed in completely/properly
– Improper oil pan plug. My oil change people replaced it without alerting me.

These are all fixed. As a thank you to the Bill Fox Chevrolet people, I left my Comcast beach ball in the rental car’s driver’s seat when I dropped it off after hours. Heh. In the future, I’ll be going to the dealership for oil changes.

So, I have my car back and am no longer suffering with a poorly-treated white Cavalier. I once again appreciate the Malibu.
