I am way too damn early to work…
… when I can take a short nap and wake up in plenty of time for my shift to start.
Tonight, I have to root through every box that I have in the garage, looking for one particular item.
The fitness center is back open here at work. Tomorrow I start staying after a half hour to an hour to work out. The only reason I’m not starting today is that I’ll get a good workout tonight moving boxes around.
Vic is singing random lyrics to the tune of “Goodbye”. I think that his pod-mates will slaughter him before I get the chance.
As per usual, Luna rocked my socks clean off yesterday.
Now I have to figure out how to get a bunch of chimpanzees to IPM this Friday. Hrm.
More Transformers tracing.

Beast Wars – Predacon

Beast Machines – Vehicon

Armada – Autobot

It’s white?
The most pragmatic thing first: The Malibu is in the dealership’s shop. They had it up on the lift yesterday, so it should be done today. In the meantime, they’ve loaned me a white Cavalier. So very tiny. *sings* Fat man in a tiny car… anyway.
I’m six pages deep into Chapter 6. I’m anticipating (NOT planning, damnit) writing more at the club tonight. I spent much of yesterday, after I picked up the temp car, hanging out at a Caribou Coffee across from Rochester High School. I picked up one of their little apple cider concoctions and sat on a metal table outside and wrote and wrote and wrote. It was extremely relaxing.
Next trip to Lansing, I need to bring my discman and some headphones, so that I can chill at Theio’s while

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): One of my favorite obscure holidays is International Moment of Frustration Scream Day. Observed every October 12, it’s meant to release pent-up tension resulting from the gap between what we have and what we think we want. Given the fact that your gap is particularly gaping right now, you Tauruses would especially benefit from throwing yourself into this fierce enjoyment with all your angst unfurled. The holiday’s founders, Thomas and Ruth Roy, suggest that everyone should go outside sometime during the day and yell for 30 seconds. I hope the sound of you bellowing Bulls will be heard around the world.
Woah.
I played Simpsons Pinball on my break.

The lack of commute in was wonderful. Amy and Mike were the best, letting me stay at their house. I smiled and chuckled every time I tried to divest my shirt of the plentiful amounts of Husky hair. The trench coat pickup was successful as well.

I’ve got the email addresses for all but one of my reader/reviewers.
I brought my notebook to IPM last night with the intention of writing. Instead, I calmed down, warmed up, and smiled again thanks to
Today has been odd in the extreme already. I got little to no rest last night, probably because of being upset at Dad. I woke up with an extreme sinus headache. I took some Motrin Sinus for it, but it wasn’t kicking in. I was getting cold sweats and head wierdness all the way on the commute. I nearly fell asleep several times, but I kept myself on the road. I sure as hell didn’t want to turn back to the TWP and call in sick. Not today.
So I got here my usual 50 minutes early, and told my pod-mate (who started at 6) that I was gonna see if I could find a place to take a nap. He suggested the sofa/lounge/postmodern thingy upstairs by the training area, as there would be little to no traffic. So, I set the alarm on my phone and took a good 35 to 40 minute nap. I warmed up when I slept and the medicine kicked in. I feel 100% better, and ready to deal with the day.
I get to see
