My cow-orkers were entirely supportive and helpful during my time of stupid yesterday. I could totally rely upon them for information and suggestions when I was hitting snags. It was encouraging and made me feel better about my brain being fried. I hope that I’m doing the same for them.

The lack of commute in was wonderful. Amy and Mike were the best, letting me stay at their house. I smiled and chuckled every time I tried to divest my shirt of the plentiful amounts of Husky hair. The trench coat pickup was successful as well.

My conversations with helped, as they always do, with perspective. Oh, and I miss bowling, of all things.

I’ve got the email addresses for all but one of my reader/reviewers. , I can’t remember your email for the life of me, and I don’t want to risk spambots getting to it by posting it here. In otherwords, drop me an email, crazy lady. :) So, I sent out copies of what I’ve got so far to and .

I brought my notebook to IPM last night with the intention of writing. Instead, I calmed down, warmed up, and smiled again thanks to and . That lady next door, she’s a screamer. That, and the g-spot squash. So, no writing got done, but a happier Skippy resulted. I did bring the zip disk with me, so writing will get done in Lansing over my weekend.

Today has been odd in the extreme already. I got little to no rest last night, probably because of being upset at Dad. I woke up with an extreme sinus headache. I took some Motrin Sinus for it, but it wasn’t kicking in. I was getting cold sweats and head wierdness all the way on the commute. I nearly fell asleep several times, but I kept myself on the road. I sure as hell didn’t want to turn back to the TWP and call in sick. Not today.

So I got here my usual 50 minutes early, and told my pod-mate (who started at 6) that I was gonna see if I could find a place to take a nap. He suggested the sofa/lounge/postmodern thingy upstairs by the training area, as there would be little to no traffic. So, I set the alarm on my phone and took a good 35 to 40 minute nap. I warmed up when I slept and the medicine kicked in. I feel 100% better, and ready to deal with the day.

I get to see tonight! YAY!
