I didn’t get jack done yesterday when it comes to apartments. I didn’t get to Lake in the Woods until after 6, and that’s when they closed. I didn’t get any phone calls made. And I doubt anyone’s going to be open on a Saturday after 5, but there’s no reason that I can’t leave a few voice mails about specials, touring and options.

List includes Schooner Cove, Ford Lake Landing, Lake in the Woods, and SilverTree. Anybody else who lives in the A2/Ypsi area want to recommend one? Rent.com and the Ann Arbor news are good sources, but either too expensive or scam-ish.

I purchased and am once again reading Urban Primitive. Fantastic book, and it’s making me think of just how many little communication and protection magics has done for me. The friendship bracelet, the coin, the watch, the little braided thingy on my work security card, the little monopoly charm, the “Te Amo” stitchwork… it just makes me smile.

Laundry to put away once I get home. Most likely the parentals won’t be home, so I get the whole place to myself. I have a feeling I’ll be on AIM or somesuch. Maybe even *gasp* some writing! A night alone in the parents’ house would be pretty schweet and relaxing.

I’ve got a lot of non-verbal thoughts bouncing around trying to figure out what they wanna clue me in to. Maybe I’ll ponder on that while I’m telling customers to power cycle their modems. :)
