Not what it seems.

I COULD be in a coffee shop. Or I COULD be in a landromat. Not quite sure at this point.

It’s got free internet access (wired), gourmet coffee, and little lamps for non-flourescent light. It’s got ample electrical outlets for charging your laptop, too.

Not only that, but the laundromat side is all digital. No quarters. You purchase a re-usable little plastic “key” with a money chip on it, just like you get in a Kinko’s card or in some library cards. I’m pretty sure the LCC StarCard uses that system, as well. Unfortunately, the machine that takes your money and gives you your key doesn’t give change. It looks like they charge $1.50 for the key, so that people won’t just come in and keep getting them. Of course, that’s a nice way to make a little added cash off of new customers.

I came here on recommendation of , and my only complaint so far is that there are no public bathrooms. However, they do apologize for that on a sign in their front door.
