Gearing up.

The Freshmen have returned. MSU’s campus is insane. The buses are actually populated. All the bus routes are back in full swing.

And I have a Japanese book. *hop* I’m far too excited over taking Japanese again. Big time. :)

I don’t know if I mentioned it, but I’m officially no longer employed at MSU’s Cowles House. They thanked me for getting me over the hump, said that they couldn’t justify having a computer tech with no computer work to do, and said that it was apparent to them that I was a bit frustrated with doing non-computer work. I smiled, shook Steve’s hand, and chalked it up as a good experience. Thank you, , for your efforts in getting me the job there. I wholeheartedly appreciate it.

The timing is eerie, as work with Smart Networks is increasing. As a result, so are the paychecks! Heh. Training is in my near future, as is writing a procedure manual. Anybody have any examples they want to send me so I can get a general idea of what I should be writing? I may have my Voyager.net and Comcast ones around, so that I have one example of what to do, and one example of what not to do. ;)

Of course, if there is need to write the procedure manual, that can only mean that there will be someone to read it. Hee hee!

I’m looking forward to a weekend full of gaming before I dive headfirst back into academia.
