Not hypocritical.

once said that she participates professionally in a system that she thinks is broken, as she intends to home school. She’s a teacher. I remember (hopefully correctly) her being concerned with hypocrisy.

There will always be those whose parents don’t have the luxury of time and/or money to home school their children. These kids, I think, still deserve the best education system that we can give them.

This, of course, backs up my penchant to fix broken systems from within. Or, to suggest that others do so. Heh.

So, even with a validated conception of home schooling, fixing the public school system is worthwhile.
