The world is still hazy, but on the left, instead of on the right.

I’m using the backup glasses that I used when my contacts started to give my left eye “pre-infection symptoms.” The ones from August/September 2003 have bitten the dust, snapped at the weld of the nose bar onto the frame. It’s just as well, because the right lens was gouged pretty good, and the paint on the frames was starting to flake off. Of course, on the backup glasses, the coating is peeling off of the left lens. So, from one blurry eye to the other. I have an appointment with a local D.O.C. (always treated me well, and been upfront with what insurance will and will not cover) tomorrow afternoon before work. I may or may not be suffering with the old glasses at PenguiCon. We shall see.

I got some more writing done yesterday, so expect a new Weekly Word Count tomorrow. :) Two weeks in a row! I probably won’t be doing any more tonight, as there are teaser CDs that need to be labeled, DVD cases (for previously mentioned CDs) that need to have covers inserted, and I need to pick and practice my reading for the Con.

I am SO excited. Freaking out in a good way. :)
