I have written two letters, picked up Liquid Plumr for my clogged bathtub, and picked up an economy size plastic bottle of Ibuprofin. I have taken two, and will beat the “amazing returning headache from hell” into a bloody pulp with the stuff, if necessary.

I’m insanely fidgety.

SBC Ameritech doesn’t offer an option for movers on its site, like AT&T Broadband does. Maybe I should switch to them for local phone service. Heh.

I left my sunglasses at ‘s apartment at IPM on Friday. Suck.

I think I need a break from the apartment. Is a wasted Sunday really wasted?

IPM was good, and worth the trip. The company that Big Bri works for may have a place for me. Of course, this comes as my plans centralize around Lansing. Stress.

Yesterday was fantastic. My parental units brought the easy chair, then took me out to lunch. Then they took me to Meijer’s, in the grocery section, and said “the bill’s on us.” Grocery spree. The Gods have blessed me with my parents, of this I have no doubt.

Ok, that’s three minutes between power cycles on my cable modem. *sigh* I’m gonna go to Theio’s to write letters, I think. I’m going to activate the text message thingy, so feel free to page me with it today.

I don’t understand, sometimes.

I woke up this morning with a horrible sleep headache. I stayed up for a little while, sipping OJ, nibbling on strawberries, and making some bacon. Well, it only got worse, and I was getting nauseous.

I burnt some of the bacon. I suppose it’s not a big deal, because it’s an unfamiliar stove. But it didn’t help my mood. I went back to bed, and I remember waking up a lot (I set the alarm, but my 1 hour nap became 2 + hours) and thinking over and over, like a mantra, “I want to be somewhere where the headache isn’t.”

Well, it’s mostly gone, and I’m not nauseous any more. Stuff I should do:
-Contact SBC/Ameritech to see if I can transfer my phone number online.
-Unpack more.
-Contact AT&T broadband and find out why I’m having to power cycle my cable modem every 20 goddamn minutes.
-Post about the rest of my weekend.

This flame is too heavy to carry.

Imagine a man dressed in all black, with long brown hair and steel grey eyes. Imagine him in a full-length leather trenchcoat, and imagine him as a large man who carries himself well.

Imagine him holding a torch, with a fiercely burning flame. Imagine the man dousing the torch in a bucket, and placing it, unlit, in a sconce in a roughly-hewn brick wall. Imagine a dark red stain on the handle of the torch, where the man had gripped it far too tightly.

And people beleive me when I say I’m not goth.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Are there useful generalizations you can make about people simply by knowing how old they are? Maybe a few. But in the coming week, any sweeping assumptions you make based on age will be damn lies that lead you astray. Cultivate the company, therefore, of old fogies who are at least
several years your senior and whippersnappers who’re at least several years younger. Wear clothes, listen to music, and seek adventures that are supposedly not appropriate for your generation. Fantasize about who you were as a ten-year-old and who you’ll be as an 80-year-old.

Job interview went well. I am so worried about getting my hopes up about a job that I will really, really like… They’re narrowing down the applicants to five or six, and then running a set of second interviews. I have my fingers crossed. Their salary people get time and a half for all overtime. Craziness.

Tonight, I see Reign of Fire again. This time, with Genny. :)

Finding out that many Robots in Disguse Transformers are now on clearance (to make room for the Armada series) is not a good thing for my wallet.

I need to get my living room set up in a way that roX0rs pretty soon. Hrm.

Wednesday. Rockin’.

I have a job interview on Wednesday for a PC Tech position at Ingham County. Salary with a nice raise. Fixing and inventorying computers.

Politics of a business switched for politics of county-level government. Dig it. According to , that place is fantastic to work for.
