Feelin’ good in the neighborhood.

I’m feeling oddly good while I’m at work today. Usually that’s an oxymoron, but whatever.

I’m happy to be doing what I can while is going through this self-searching time, and I hope I’m doing enough, and not doing too much.

My tabletop Mage game starts next Thursday, and will run every other Thursday. You’re jealous.

My desk at work will soon be filled with many Optimus Primes. I’ve only got two here so far. Optumii! Oh, and , I got your email, and I’m mulling over thoughts currently. You will see something soon. Yay for more projects!

Anybody who’s into the World of Darkness by White Wolf know in what book I can find oodles of info about the Crystal Chantry? I’m already going to buy the new Virtual Adepts Traditionbook wherever I can find it. If anybody else has some ideas, let me know. :)

Good news and bad news.

The good news is that I don’t have an ulcer.

The bad news is that I have a hiatal hernia.

The drug they used to put me out is still making me a little dizzy at times, and I slept it off, adding enough sleep to what I got to get a stubborn headache. However, I don’t remember a thing about them putting the camera down my throat.

I barely remember shuffling out of the U of M Hospital like the thorazine patients in the movies.

Recurring theme.

On the subject of letting things go…

I spied a comment from Jamie() in Chris()’s journal. Publically, they’re friends again, it seems.

Am I a hypocrite for letting and back in my life, and to get mad about this? Frustrated? Defeated?

Thoughts of, “Why don’t people learn?” and “She’ll never be taught a lesson if people don’t drop her from their lives for good.” run through my head, emotionally driven, and not making a whole lot of sense, considering my actions.

Why won’t I let them go? Any of them…

Horoscope

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): It’s a perfect time to reinvent the past. You’ll unearth interesting discoveries if you explore the old days with a critical, objective eye. Look for discrepancies between how you remember things and what really happened. Consider the possibility that some of your memories aren’t really your own, but other people’s interpretations that you’ve unconsciously absorbed. By August 15, I hope you’ll be ready to correct the story you tell yourself about your history.

Horoscope

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): I took a long, meandering walk today. After an hour, I found myself in an unfamiliar neighborhood on a wide paved road. In the middle of a long straight stretch there were two street signs next to each other. The one on the right — the direction from which I had come — said “Split Drive.” The one on the left — where I was headed — said “Union Avenue.” There was no intersection here and no bend in the road to mark the change — no apparent distinction at all between Split and Union. Now study all the details I just reported, Taurus. They’re symbols for your life in the coming week.

I just can’t stop!

I am The Hierophant

The Hierophant often represents learning with experts or knowledgeable teachers. This card also stands for institutions and their values. The Hierophant is a symbol of the need to conform to rules or fixed situations. His appearance in a reading can show that you are struggling with a force that is not innovative, free-spirited or individual. Groups can be enriching or stifling, depending on circumstances. Sometimes we need to follow a program or embrace tradition, other times, we need to trust ourselves.
