Hokay. So.

Drinking more water is good for me. Drinking more water out of a dilbert cup is good for my morale. And so is my Dilbert desk calendar. Hee hee!

Hokay. So. Here’s the Dave. Chillin’. Dang, you might say, that’s one angsty Dave. WRONG!

Okay, not completely wrong, but not swinging from the pendulum like a crazed orangutan any longer. was really good to talk with last night. was even better, because she was the one I needed to communicate with. Thanks to the both of you. :)

I’m back on the working out schtick. I feel great, even if my muscles are a bit stiff on a regular basis. It feels like a good stiff though. Man, I used to hate when people said that.

Two bills and a letter to ‘s sister to go out today. A letter for and went out yesterday. Living so near a post office is pretty damn cool.

Tick, tock.

I am calm. I am self-reliant. I cannot be perturbed by the world, no matter how powerful the disturbance. I am as emptiness.

I am a thunderstorm. I am torrential downpour. I am flash floods. I am merciless lightning strikes.

Paranoia would have been better than this guessing. A promise was made.

I know that it’s the nature of the universe to change. I know that it’s the nature of calm and understanding to be fleeting. This pendulum shit is ridiculous.

I need to wrest hold of the pendulum and let go of it completely at the same time. How’s that for a Zen Koan?

Release is good. Need communication.

Updates.

Album pages have been updated. More specifically, the Misc from this month. I’m going to have to add a link to that here on my page.

Chapter 11’s rewrite and typing up is done. It will be sent out presently.

Horoscope

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Sixty-six-year-old Taurus actor Jack Nicholson is a paragon of receptivity. “I’m dying to have my mind changed,” he told “Esquire” magazine. “I’m probably the only liberal who read *Treason,* by Ann Coulter. I like listening to everybody. This is the elixir of life.” Nicholson’s refreshing declaration should be your words to live by in the next couple of weeks, Taurus: It’s your astrological season of expansion and experimentation. Don’t just grudgingly agree to open your eyes and have your theories challenged. Learn to *love* the uncanny stretching sensation.

Disappointing.

This morning, I finished Interview with the Vampire again. I forgot to bring the next book with me.

This afternoon, I spent half of my lunch looking at the new Apple products. Not really that impressed, honestly.

Listened to my MP3 player while I was checking out the new stuff, and my brand new battery is now registering as zero bars of battery power, though it still plays. I used it for longer with bigger, better headphones on the last battery. I have a replacement battery, but it’s with the next Anne Rice book – at my apartment.

This is all whining about little things, really. I have a Border’s gift card, with which I can purchase a couple of new softcover books if I want. Lunch was tasty and with good people. Apple may still wow everybody on their 20th anniversary. I can pick up a AAA battery anywhere for very little money.

I’m fairly certain that I just need to write my way out of this melancholy.
