One step closer to published.

Chapter outlines are finished. For the whole novel. Up to and including the afterword.

Holy crap.

21 chapters, plus prelude and afterword.

Holy crap.

I clearly have no excuse to not start on the meat of Chapter 6 immediately.

Holy lack of commute, Batman!

I left the Weavers’ at 6:38 AM. I arrived at Comcast at 7:12 AM. Holy crap was that nice.

It’s not what you think. The Wyrm lives at the Weavers’.

I just realized that I left my trench coat there. I’ll have to call them on my lunch break.

I had extremely real and engaging dreams last night. I can’t remember any of them. Extremely frustrating.

I can’t wait for my break, so I can call and hear her voice.

Aaaaaaaaand…. stop.

Chapter 17. The beginning of California and the giant robots part of my novel. Yes, it’s going to be wonderfully cheezy and possibly even infantile. You’ll love it.

This is, very possibly, the most important part of the book. I’ve only written up to Chapter 5, so I’m stalling on the outline of this section. It’s the part of the book that I am going to have the most fun with, I think. Perhaps I’m just hesitant about committing this huge part of my imagination (heavily tainted by many giant robot cartoons) to even a modicum of stasis.

Or perhaps I just need to get my damn boots on and get this shit done.

My nose is dripping, but my fingernails are trimmed.

I got plenty of sleep last night, but the commute just makes it impossible to stay awake. The only solution I’ve found so far is Tenacious D. Even with Jack Black and Kyle keeping me company, it’s difficult.

What I really need to do is go through my box of CD’s in the garage and pull out 5 or so good, loud, angry ones.

I should know better than to post that I’m going to work on something when I get home, because I never ever do. So, I still have some chapter outlines to work on. No biggie. I just don’t feel rushed about anything, which is nice.

I’ve paid off my traffic ticket. No worrying for you, . :) Now to find the outgoing mail in this blasted call center. Heheheheh.

Okay.

Schedule difficulties are fixed. I get to remain on my current schedule until my 90 days are in. Excellent.

I’m up to Chapter 13… in Chapter Outlines. Heh. Don’t get too excited, people. :)

I think I’m going to finish the outlines tonight, at least. Maybe even get some work done on Chapter 6.

One can hope.

Good Morning, Sunshine!

Busy, busy, busy. Major press release for Comacast today, and that means that everybody’s calling in. Not only that, but I think some of the upgrades in bandwidth didn’t quite propogate across the network properly. No biggie, I just get to talk to more people while I’m drinking my get-rid-of-the-head-cold tea.

I’ve got a couple more chapter outlines done, and I’m honestly getting excited about how overarcing storyline is working out. Yay! Wednesday nights at Luna always inspire me wonderfully.

I miss .

Horoscope

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): My investigation of recent Taurean behavior reveals that you have committed two spankable offenses. I will not, however, authorize any enforcers to turn you over their knees and apply their palms forcefully to your buttocks — not yet, anyway. First I want to give you a chance to atone, by filling in the gaps in your understanding and ripening the attitudes that led to your deviation from the righteous path. Or would you prefer to avoid the hard work of making amends and instead just accept a spanking?

Thoughts.

I wonder when the Daylight Savings time change is going to happen.

It looks like I’ve already been slated to start my new schedule next week, instead of at my 90 days. Maybe I missed some info on my Monday and Tuesday days off. That means that I’ve got… 7 days straight of work until my next day off. And it also means that I’ll start running into thicker traffic again. Oh boy. Nine to Six, here I come.

Monday involved a lot of rushing and waiting. now has a SS card and a new driver’s license coming in the mail. She can work at her new jeorb! Yay! :) I have a credit/rental report being mailed to the Twp. so that I can start challenging the ridiculousness that is currently there. I’ve called in the speeding ticket, and now know how much the damage is. Right around what I expected.

makes a mean chili, and both and I agree.

Second car payment gets payed today. Another one on time. We get three paychecks this month, so I’m going to pay the next one early, so I can get in the habit of paying the car payment in the middle of the month and rent at the end of the month. Locked into a pattern is a good idea for me.
