Trips.
So, there was Movement on Monday, work on Tuesday, job interview and Lansing on Wednesday, and Gaylord on Thursday.
HOLY CRAP.
Gaylord was much fun. Aluminum foil and grease fires whilst grilling are invigorating! Also,
And now tonight and tomorrow night are pretty full. I think I’m going to sit around the house Sunday night and do little things like CLEAN the apartment… maybe some vacuuming… maybe some of the dreaded dusting. The place really needs it… and some organizing. Some of the things that I think we should get on my next paycheck, now that
– One of those bathroom shelf things. There’s not enough room on the tub for our shampoos, conditioners, and for the soap to not melt away whenever I take a long shower.
– Serious coax cabling.
– Chairs. Four or so for the kitchen/science table and one more for the computer room. I’m thinking of heading to UofM surplus for this, and other little sundries. If I could only remember where it was… heh.
More updatin’ and catchin’ up.
I am triple-booked for tomorrow night. That’s right.
– Amy’s game.
– Chiasm show in Hamtramck.

I have china!
So, my forehead finished peeling yesterday and my nose is peeling today. Sunburn at Movement. Which was FUN. Not to mention the phenominal music I picked up.
Allergies are stronger this year than I remember, but they usually fade by the afternoon… or a few hours after I wake up, whichever comes last.
Comcast bought me lunch today. Actually, they bought the whole call center lunch, but whatevah.
SBJ, am I behind in my LJ friends’ page. Many little updates today, most likely. First off, my interview on Wednesday.
Bombed. Totally sux0red. They pwn3d me.
And yet, I came away feeling happy. Ah, well. Now I’m filling out a Show of Interest form for a Senior TSS position here. How chuckle-worthy is that?

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): In his book *The Gulag Archipelago,* Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn documents the Soviet Union’s oppression of many ethnic groups between 1918 and 1956. “Only one nation would not give in, nor acquire the mental habits of submission,” he noted. “These were the Chechens. They never sought to please, to ingratiate themselves with the bosses . . . No one could stop them from living as they did.” I don’t mean to imply that the manipulative pressures coming to bear on you, Taurus, are anywhere near as severe as what the Chechens experienced. In fact, your version might be rather covert or subtle. But I urge you, nevertheless, to stand up in defense of your independent spirit with a Chechen-like clarity and ferocity.
Something to do…
