Admission of guilt.

I’ve been being a pretty crappy friend lately.

I have not been returning phone calls.  I have not been responding to people wanting to hang out with me.  I have been the one who always waits to be contacted, instead of letting my friends know that I’m interested in them as well.

I apologize.

As actions tend to speak louder than words, I will attempt to get my ass in gear and turn these things around.

She’s back!

She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!  She’s back!

What the hell is a dickens?

This morning I was Mr. Cranky McWhineypants.  Seriously.  Apparently, the holy bean (and a wonderful conversation with a giggling ) brought my mood back up.

My shift swap for this weekend’s wedding is all done, just needs to be turned in to any wandering manager.

I think I’m going to have to register for a USB scanner, as well as a datebook.  Heh.

I miss Benny like the dickens.

Scheduling madness.

Mostly for my own reference.

Saturday, September 25th, 5:00 PM – Jason and Ari’s wedding.
Thursday, October 14th – Bachelor Party
Saturday, October 16th – Coed wedding shower, put on by Amy.
Sunday, October 17th – Grandma Bean’s 80th birthday party.

Much shift-swapping madness. Perhaps, for the gift registry, I should find a good pocket planner/date book.

Horoscope

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Even if you’re not a jazz fan, you’ll thrive in the coming week by using a modus operandi that resembles jazz. I suggest, therefore, that you improvise frequently. Experiment with intricate, strong, and playful rhythms. Infuse your yearning for freedom with humor. For further insight about how to proceed, meditate on the following clues from three jazz greats. Ornette Coleman: “Jazz is the only music in which the same note can be played night after night but differently each time.” John Coltrane: “You can play a shoestring if you’re sincere.” Miles Davis: “Don’t play what’s there, play what’s not there.”
