Nervousness is mounting in regards to calling the Ann Arbor news and convincing them that they need me as an opinion writer. I will not let this prevent me from doing it, as it used to in the past.

I think this Verizon stuff is going to spoil me. A phone that works inside my apartment. Just amazing. Especially this whole text messaging deal. I definitely need to add some ‘a that to my plan.

has joined the ranks of those with broadband internet. Not only that, THE HOUSE I GREW UP IN FINALLY HAS CABLE TELEVISION!!

Yes, kids, this DOES mean that there is a Santa Claus. It just means that he’s one of the horsemen of the apocalypse. Or reindeermen. Whatever.

Not only does he have digital cable, a cable modem, that man is shooting into the wireless age, so that he doesn’t have to wire a cord all the way up to Mom’s computer. He’s snagging a combo wireless/wired router. They’ll have three computers sharing broadband in the TWP. I think my head is going to explode. :)

I think I’m going to have to shoot him a link to Apple’s movie trailer site. He’s gonna love it.

Lots of ups and downs. My panic about being around people was triggered hardcore this weekend, but it lasted only a day. This is good. Chapter 15 is done and waiting to be typed. Mmmm, gore! And not the one that thinks he invented the internet.

I just ordered my Verizon service. Finally got completely fed up with Sprint service in my apartment and am taking the plunge. Luckily, work gives me mad discounts.

The last two evenings have been absolutely amazing. Friday was hanging out with and . Some rockin’ Red Robin burger action (fry seasoning good!) and then chillin’ like villains at my place. I missed the crap out of those people. Last night was hanging out with Amy and Mike. Good god damn, can Weaver kick ass at Monopoly. That’s all I got to say ’bout that.

While going through this spiritual realignment, secular matters are re-arranging themselves in a manner that feels right. Wait, they go hand in hand? Who’da thunk it. ;)
